Although it is midweek and there is no Champions League, there are plenty of matches to take place this Wednesday. We missed the previous weekend so now we are following up with the BTTS and Win Tips.

AS Roma and Atalanta will face each other on Wednesday on Stadio Olimpico. The Giallorossi had a difficult start of the season when they drew their first two games of the season. However, they bounced back with two wins in a row. Paulo Fonseca’s men scored 10 and conceded 7 goals since the beginning of the campaign, which means they managed to win 8 points so far.
They are in a very good position to attack the first 3 places in the league, as only the league leaders Inter have won their first 4 matches. There have been over 2,5 goals scored in 13 of the last 16 matches of the Giallorossi’ home matches in Serie A. This fact makes us there will be goals in both nets again at Olimpico.
Atalanta also started the season well. They are taking the 6th position with 7 points. The interesting fact is that the Nerazzurri managed to win twice away from home so far, and they are still looking for their first win on home soil. They suffered a heavy Champions League debut defeat against Dinamo Zagreb last week and after that, they made a 2-2 home draw with Fiorentina.
The team from Bergamo will want to forget about last week’s results and the match against Roma is a good opportunity for that. The visitors scored at least twice in 9 of their last 10 matches in Serie A no matter the opponent, so we would like to see more of the same on Wednesday.
Prediction – Home Win and BTTS: YES
Sheffield United vs Sunderland – Carabao Cup – England
Sheffield United will host Sunderland on Bramall Lane on Wednesday night when both teams will have to decide which one is going to go through the next round of the Carabao Cup. The hosts from Sheffield had a good start in the Premier League and it is doubtful how important is this competition for them.
The Blades managed to beat Blackburn Rovers in the previous round with 2-1 at home and now they have another possibility against a weaker side. Chris Wilder’s side got an impressive 2-0 victory against Everton in the last round of the Premier League, so we can expect few changes in the starting lineups of his team.
The visitors from Sunderland are also enjoying a good start of the campaign. They are sitting 5th with 16 points from 9 matches in League 1. Jack Ross and his players already defeated a Premier League side in the previous round, when Burnley were defeated with 3-1. The Carabao Cup is a different competition, but in the league, The Black Cats scored 14 and conceded 11 times so far.
The team is performing well up-front but is not very consistent in terms of defending. Glenn Loovens and Duncan Watmore are sidelined for the encounter, but Marc McNulty is very likely to be ready to play. There always have been surprises in the early stages of the Carabao Cup, so we hope to witness another entertaining match on Bramall Lane.
Prediction – Home Wind and BTTS: YES
