After a short break we are back on the BTTS tips road. For this day we have picks from 2 leagues: France League 1 and Austria 2. Liga. Let’s check out our predictions and stats for Friday:
Nimes vs Lyon – Ligue 1
Nimes are standing up against Lyon in France League 1 looking for their 5th consecutive home win. Taking a look at the last 8 encounters both teams achieved 16 points so we can say that both competitors are in good form.
Nimes are showing great spirit combined with impressive attacking display when they are playing at home. Bernard Blaquart’s players have won their last 4 home matches (2 with BTTS: Yes) and they are undefeated in their last 8. Currently Nimes are 7th in the standing table having no chance to get the 6th spot, but to see one goal from them – that won’t be a surprise.
Lyon are feeling comfortable playing away, scoring 6 goals in the last 2 games playing as visitors. They have also scored at least one goal in each of their last 5 away matches. I really believe that it’s impossible to see a clean sheet on this one.
BTTS: YES 53%
Caen vs Bordeaux – Ligue 1
Caen have last chance to secure a spot for the next season and they have the perfect opponent to do it.
Bordeaux are the worst team in terms of form getting only 4 points from 8 games. They have failed to score a goal last 3 times in Ligue 1. If Caen wins this would be Bordeaux’s 7th consecutive defeat. But they are not in relegation danger so they have nothing to fight for.
Fabien Mercadal’s players managed to win their last 2 home matches scoring 4 goals in total. They need to fight till the end so I believe they will push hard on this one.
I really hope that Caen wins this, but the prediction is based more on Bordeaux not scoring a goal.
FC Liefering vs Wattens – Austria 2. Liga
For the last BTTS prediction I chose Austria 2. Liga or you can see it as Austria 2nd League on the bookies lists.
Liefering will be facing the 2nd team in the current standing table and it would be hard for them to leave with any points.
If we look at their performance we will notice that a lot of goals are scored when these players are performing on home turf:
Liefering at home
LIE – Wiener Neustadt 2-5
LIE – BW Linz 2-4
LIE – FC Juniors 5-1
LIE – A. Lustenau 1-2
As you can see both teams are scoring goals in each occasion. Now lets go to the other side and have a look there:
1-2 FC Juniors – WAT
3-2 W. Innsbruck B – WAT
0-0 Wiener Neustadt – WAT
1-1 BW Linz – WAT
Well 4 goals scored in the most recent 2 games is enough for me to believe that this team will score a goal and possibly they will also take the 3 points.
