The regular season in the Australian Brisbane Premier League is about to end this weekend. In their last encounter for the campaign, Brisbane Knights are facing Centenary Stormers. Brisbane Croatia, as their fans call their favourite team, avoided relegation, but we have to say they were really lucky. They lost 5 of their last 6 games, and they lost all of their last 4 home games. The neutral fans really enjoy their games, just because they see plenty of goals.

Brisbane Knights vs Centenary Stormers BTTS Stats

Actually, Brisbane Knights and Centenary Stormers are the top 2 and top 3 teams with the worst defensive record in the league – Centenary conceded 66 goals, while Brisbane did 64. And they managed to achieve this in just 21 matches. However, Brisbane Knights somehow scored 9 goals in their most recent 6 matches, so we believe they can score some more on Friday when they face an equal opponent.

This seems to be Centenary Stormers’ last chance to try to avoid relegation. They are sitting 11th with 13 points. If they want to stay in the league for the next season as well, they need to win. Their run of form is looking well though. The Stormers won 3 of their last 6 games and two of them were away from home. Centenary scored 12 times for the mentioned period and having in mind the fact that they still what to fight for, they are capable of winning this one too.

Botosani vs FC Academica Clinceni – Romania – Liga 1

Botosani vs Ac. Clinceni
Home Total BTTS Stats: Total Away
0% 14% Clean sheets 0% 0%
0% 14% Won-to-nil 0% 0%
100% 86% Both teams scored 86% 75%
0% 0% Failed to score 14% 25%
0% 0% Lost-to-nil 14% 25%

Botosani started the season in Liga 1 quite well. They were able to win 7 points out of a possible 9 after their 3 opening games. They even managed to beat FCSB away from home. But after that remarkable win, Botoșănenii is struggling to win, as they recorded 3 draws and 1 defeat.

However, what we are looking for in this next encounter are goals. And since the start of the season in Romania, Botosani had only 1 match where BTTS YES was not seen and it was exactly against FCSB. Marius Croitoru and his men were beaten heavily the last round by the league leaders CFR Cluj, so they must bounce back with a good performance here.

FC Academica Clinceni did not start the season the way they wanted. They arrived from Liga 2 when they finished 2nd and got a promotion to Liga 1, but they still struggle to deal with life in the elite Romanian division. The reason why we picked them is that there were plenty of goals scored in every one of their matches so far. In fact, there were under 2,5 goals scored in just 2 of their 7 matches since the start of the season.

On the 26th of July, they faced FC Politehnica Iași when they conceded 2 and failed to score any and this was the only time when they couldn’t find the net at all. It is a tough match to predict, but what we can expect here are goals in both bets, so bring on Friday!

Prediction – BTTS: YES

Odd BK vs Bodø/Glimt – Norway – Eliteserien

Odd BK

0% 21% Failed to score 11% 22%
0% 21% Lost-to-nil 11% 22%
10% 21% Conceded in both halves 16% 33%

On Friday night we are going to witness a tight match at the top of the table in Norway’s Eliteserien. The 3rd seated team faces the 1st and the stakes are high because nothing has been decided yet.

Odd BK are finding themselves 3rd in the table with 7 points behind 1st place. The home side did not play well during July and August and this is when they failed to keep up with the leaders’ tempo.

Since the start of July, Odd BK played 7 matches, won just 2, lost 1 and drew the rest 4 matches. Oddrane scored 10 and conceded 10 goals for that period. The lack of points due to their poor performance was the reason why they are now 7 points away from the 1st place. However, if Odd BK win on Friday, this would be their 11th home match in a row without a defeat and their 11th home match where they managed to find the net.

Bodø/Glimt are comfortably occupying the 1st spot in the league. Their run of form in the last few months is incredible. The fact is that Molde are very close, just 2 points behind. So Bodø/Glimt have to get the 3 points and keep the distance as it is or even increase it. As we mentioned, Glimt won lots of points during the summer period. In fact, since the 30th of June till Friday, they won 6 matches, lost 1 and drew 1, which is a championship form.

Bodø/Glimt are actually undefeated in their last 6 matches home and away and there were over 2,5 goals scored in 68% of their total matches. The visitors were able to score the opening goal in 74% of their games and furthermore, they were the team who was having the lead at half time in 63% of the occasions. The last 15 minutes are decisive for Bodø/Glimt because it turns out that 41% of the amount of conceded goals occurred during that period.
