19th August SC Heerenveen vs Twente YES
19th August Toronto FC vs Montreal Impact YES
19th August Celta Vigo vs Valencia YES

SC Heerenveen vs Twente – Netherlands – Eredivisie

The first match comes from The Netherlands. SC Heerenveen will host the newly promoted Twente when Gameday 4 takes place on Saturday. Both teams took part in matches with plenty of goals since the start of the season.

SC Heerenveen did not begin the way the wished for, despite winning their opening game of the season with 4-0 away from home.

A 1-1 draw at home and a surprising defeat against FC Emmen in the last round ruined The Super Frisians hopes for a better start. An interesting fact for the home side is that they are yet to be defeated at home in the last 5 occasions in Eredivisie. Manager Johnny Jansen will have the chance to use the full potential of his team, as there aren’t any injured players.

The newcomers from Twente are still enjoying a good start of the campaign, as they recorded 2 draws and 1 win so far. 12 goals have been scored in Twente’s 3 opening games this season, as the only time they played away from home they managed to find the net 3 times.

The Reds biggest ambition will be to secure their elite status for the next season as well, so the start is promising. The fact that the visitors are still undefeated will definitely give them a morale boost, but things could change pretty fast in the Eredivisie. Both teams love scoring goals, so we think we will witness another BTTS YES encounter.

Prediction – BTTS: YES

Toronto FC vs Montreal Impact – USA – MLS

The second pick is from USA’s MLS Championship. Toronto FC will have to deal with Montreal Impact on Saturday night as both teams have realistic chances of reaching the play-offs. Toronto can’t be proud of their run of form lately.

They managed to win only twice in the last 6 occasions home and away, as these two wins were achieved in front of their own fans. Things are looking slightly better if we take a look at the last four home matches of The Reds – 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat, as Toronto scored 7 and conceded 6 times during that period.

They will face no injury concerns and will step into this Canadian derby in a good mood.

Montreal Impact’s run of form is even worse, compared to Toronto’s one. Montreal are facing big issues when they have to play away from home – they lost every single one of their last 4 visits, as they scored 9 and conceded 13 goals. Moreover, there have been over 2,5 goals scored in the Canadians last 9 matches away from home.

Montreal’s defensive problems are visible and this is something Wilmer Cabrera will have to sort out if he wants to see his team in the play-offs. He has some problems with injured players, as Daniel Kinumbe, Victor Cabrera and Ignacio Piatti are missing the clash.

Prediction – BTTS: YES

Celta Vigo vs Valencia – Spain – LaLiga

The second round of the Spanish LaLiga will take place this weekend. Celta Vigo will have to face a difficult challenge when they meet Valencia at Balaidos on Saturday. Celta had a difficult challenge to face in the first round last week when they were defeated by Real Madrid with 1-3 at their own ground.

Celta were losing 0-1 and in the 57th minute of the match and Real had to finish the match with 10 players, after Luka Modric’s red card. However, Celta couldn’t use their 1 man advantage and still lost the game.

The Celticos home matches are a joy to watch in terms of goals. Actually, there have been over 2,5 goals scored in 5 of Celta’s last 6 games at Balaidos, including the Real Madrid defeat.

Valencia’s high ambitious this season were thrown away at the early start of the campaign. Marcelinho’s men weren’t able to win in the first round at home against Real Sociedad, as they dropped the 3 points deep in the second half with a penalty in the 90 mins of the match.

However, there are some positive statistics in Los Che visits – they scored at least 2 goals in their last 4 matches away from home in LaLiga and they are yet to lose an encounter against Celta in the last 5 occasions in all competitions.

There is still plenty of time and these are still the early stages of the season, so Los Che are still having plenty of time to start performing the way they want.

Prediction – BTTS: YES
