BTTS Tips for Saturday 4th May +STATS

3 min read

Going in the first Saturday for May will be difficult. Let’s see what BTTS betting tips we prepared for one of our favorite days:

Ascoli vs Palermo – Serie B

Ascoli vs Palermo goal stats

Ascoli are finding themselves in 12th position in the Italian Serie B. The hosts are 5 points away from the play-off zone, but there aren’t many matches left till the end of the campaign.

However, Ascoli are an attacking team – they only failed to scored in 26% of their all matches in the league. On top of that, there were 17 goals scored in Ascoli’s last 6 games – home and away. It seems like they struggle to score when they play away from home, but on their home soil things are looking differently.

Palermo are currently 3rd in the league and still have a slight chance for a direct promotion in the Serie A. Some poor results in the last few weeks cost them the advantage they had. In fact, Palermo won only 2 of their last six games, lost 1 and drawn 3.

But so far this campaign, Palermo managed to score and concede in 71% of all of their matches, which makes us think the same thing could happen on Saturday.

Benevento vs Padova – Serie B

Benevento vs Padova betting statsBenevento against Padova is another match from the Italian Serie B, which we are going to present to you. Benevento are undoubtedly the clear favorite here. They are in 4th position with 56 points. The distance between them and the direct promotion is 7 points, which is a lot and it will be hard to expect their opponents will be constantly losing points in the next few matches.

However, Benevento are not that balanced as it may seem. They score a lot, but they also concede a lot, especially at home. In fact, in 65% of their home matches they scored and conceded at least 1 goal. This is the reason why we are looking for goals here.

Padova on the other hand, are very close to relegation. This is their last hope to gather some more points to help them to secure their status. In the last round Padova managed to beat the high-flying team of Lecce, which is currently sitting 2nd, so they might manage ruin Benevento plans.

Padova managed to score in every of their last 3 visits and with the boost of confidence after the win over Lecce last round, it won’t be a surprise if we see a difficult match for the home side.

Cordoba vs Reus – Segunda Division

The last match of the day is from the Spanish Segunda Division. We barely look for possibilities here, but one match made us think seriously – the game between Cordoba and Reus. When you look at the league table, it is a match between the last 2 teams and it is 100% sure that both of them will relegate after the end of the campaign.

Cordoba seems to have a little bit advantage here because of the home ground fact. On the other hand, Cordoba are finding I difficult to find the net lately – they failed to score in 3 of their last 4 games in the league.

Reus are sitting last in the league with 0 points. Yes, you got it right – 0 points from 36 matches. But the reason is that the League deducted 21 points from their overall active, which was exactly 21, due to financial issues. The moral in the team is below 0, Reus lost all of their last 6 games with 1-0, which means it is extremely hard for them to find the net in any occasion.

Moreover, they managed to score only 16 goals so far this season, which makes them the weakest team in the league. This is why we suppose there won’t be goals in both nets here, both of the teams really struggle to score at all this season.
