Brisbane Kn. vs Caboolture FC – Australia – Brisbane Premier League
|Brisbane Kn.||vs||Caboolture FC|
|78%||74%||Both teams scored||79%||90%|
|22%||21%||Failed to score||21%||10%|
Brisbane Kn. will host Caboolture FC on Sunday, as both teams have a match in hand. Brisbane Kn. are sitting 9th with 19 points, which is 9 away from the relegation zone.
The home side should try a little bit harder in order to avoid relegation issues until the end of the season, so this match is a good way for them to take some breath. However, Brisbane’s form is awful.
They have lost 5 of their last 6 games home and away. The fun fact is that they scored 12 goals for that period and still lost so many times. But the fact that they conceded 20 goals for the same period answers the question of why they are finding themselves in this position.
Caboolture FC are just 6 points ahead of their next opponents. When we look at the table, there isn’t anything realistic that they can fight for till the end of the campaign. The play-off zone is very far, and the relegation seems impossible, so Caboolture have only to play for their pride.
The visitor’s defence seems vulnerable – they conceded at least once in every each of their last 19 matches, which also means there wasn’t a visit this season where they didn’t concede. The good thing for Caboolture is that they scored 40 goals in 19 matches, which is good enough for our betting expectations ahead of this match.
Prediction – BTTS: YES
Fortuna Sittard vs Willem II – Netherlands – Eredivisie
The Dutch championship has already started and we are extremely happy about that fact, just because they are the kings of goals. It might be just the beginning of the season, but we know what we can expect from them.
Fortuna Sittard started the season as people would expect them to start – with a heavy 4-0 lost against AZ Alkmaar and a 1-1 draw at home versus Heracles. They are occupying the 13th place at the table, which seems okay for them at the moment.
Here are some promising stats ahead of this encounter – in 9 of the last 10 occasions in all competitions between these two sides there were over 2,5 goals. Fortuna Sittard also managed to score at least 3 goals in their last 3 home matches against this opponent. If this is not enough to convince you, we don’t know what would be!
Willem II managed to start the season a little bit better, as they were able to beat PEC Zwolle at the opening day of the season with the convincing 3-1 away from home.
However, things didn’t work out for them last weekend at home, when they were defeated by Vitesse with 2-0 at home. When Willem II is playing away from home lately, actually in their last 8 visits, there were over 2,5 goals scored in 7 of them.
For the same period, Willem managed to score at least twice in 6 of their last 7 visits, of course, including the last season. In two of the last 3 meetings between these two clubs in all competitions, The Tricolores scored at least twice against Fortuna Sittard.
Prediction – BTTS: YES
Kasimpasa vs Trabzonspor – Turkey – Super Lig
The Turkish Super League also starts this weekend and the first round will face two very tough teams against each other.
Kasimpasa didn’t have their best season last year, as they finished 14th – very close to relegation. The good point for them is that their ex-manager Kemal Ozdes was re-hired this summer.
Under his guidance, Kasimpasa became tough to beat team. But let’s have a look at the stats – there were at least 3 goals scored in both nets in the last 4 occasions. When these sides met each other and Kasimpasa managed to score at least 2 goals in their last 3 meetings. This sounds really promising. Kasimpasa have no injury worries, so all of their new players will be able to play.
Trabzonspor are a side which again will be considered as a Top4 or a Top5 contender. Last season they finished just 6 points behind the champions of Galatasaray. This summer they played some friendly matches, as in none of them they were able to keep a clean sheet.
During the week they had a European adventure, where they were able to beat Sparta Prague at home with 2-1, which allowed them to qualify for the Europa League play-off.
The last 4 times when Trabzonspor met Kasimpasa, Karadeniz Firtinasi managed to score at least 2 goals. There is no doubt who is the favourite here. But we think that Trabzonspor’s European adventure could affect their start in the Turkish League and they might suffer against Kasimpasa.
