Atalanta vs Manchester City – Champions League – Group C

Manchester City dominated Group C winning all their matches in the most prestigious competition in Europe. They will travel to Bergamo for their clash with the outsiders Atalanta.

Atalanta disappointed in their UCL debut. They were defeated in their first 3 games conceding 11 goals in the process. However, the Italian side managed to score in the last 2 contests. The Nerazzurri will be looking for their first points in the tournament against the favorites Manchester City.

Atalanta performed far better domestically. The hosts are fifth in Serie A and fight for a spot in the top 4. Their attacking record is really impressive – 30 goals in 11 games. They were surprisingly beaten by Calliari in their last encounter.

Manchester City are on the verge of qualification for the next stage of the competition. They scored at least 2 goals in each of their matches. The Sky Blues may rotate their squad in the upcoming UCL fixture because they will take on Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.

City are 6 points adrift from their title rivals and need to win at Anfield. The Citizens had to make a second-half comeback against Southampton in their last league game. They scored more than 3 goals per match in the EPL this campaign. However, MCFC kept only 2 clean sheets in their last 6 clashes in all competitions

PSG vs Club Brugge – Champions League – Group A

PSG are another team with a perfect record in the Champions League this season. Club Brugge surprisingly drew their first 2 games in the tournament but were trashed by their next opponents in Belgium in the last round.

PSG beat comfortably Real Madrid in their UCL opener and haven’t taken their foot off the pedal since then. They won in 2 consecutive visits. The Parisians are yet to concede in the group stage.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are leaders in Ligue 1 but have already suffered 3 defeats this season. PSG were more convincing in their home games and conceded only 2 goals.

Club Brugge shared the points with Galatasaray in a stalemate before stealing a famous point from Real Madrid at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. They still have a chance to qualify due to Los Blancos’ struggles but their more realistic ambition will be to finish third in the group.

FCB lead in the Jupiler League and scored a ton of goals against weaker opponents. However, PSG are on another level and it will be extremely hard for Brugge to score at Parc des Princes.

Dinamo Zagreb vs Shakhtar Donetsk – Champions League  – Group C

Dinamo Zagreb and Shakthar Donetsk face each other in a direct battle for the second place. Both teams are level on points and the result in their duel might be crucial for the final standing in the group.

The hosts had a slight advantage as they earn a point in their trip to Ukraine in the last round of the group stage. Dinamo Zagreb played only once at home in the tournament and hammered Atalanta. The Blues failed to score only in their visit to Etihad Stadium.

DZG had a four-point lead at the top of the 1.HNL with a game in hand. They have a 100% winning record in their home matches and scored 10 goals in 6 matches.

Shakhtar Donetsk are the more experienced side. However, they have a considerably trickier schedule. Their defence may be a concern as the Ukranian side is yet to keep a clean sheet in the group phase.

Shakhtar Donetsk are on the route of another domestic table sitting at the top of the Premier League. They are still unbeaten in the division and achieved 37 from possible 39 points. The Miners scored the astonishing 39 goals in 13 matches.
