After a short break, we are back on track with some fresh weekend BTTS tips and predictions for the upcoming weekend. The Top 5 football leagues might be having a break, but there are enough options which are worth a try.
Kairat vs FC Zhetysu – Kazakhstan – Premier League
Sunday 23rd June
The first match is from the Premier League of Kazakhstan – a league that is developing really fast. FC Kairat, who are sitting 3rd, are being considered as title contenders every year. But, for now, they are 7 points behind their biggest rivals from Astana, who are 1st with 35 points. They are dropping a lot when they play away from home and they have already lost 5 matches this season.
As for the goals, Kairat have played 8 matches at home this year, as in 5 of them one of the teams failed to score at all. Kairat have the second best attack in the league with 24 goals, but their defensive record is the 6th best in the league. However, the home side’s current form is promising. They have won their last 4 matches and they have also scored 2 or more goals in these matches, so they are the favorites here on paper.
The visitors from FC Zhetysu are sitting 6 points behind Kairat at the 6th place. You can’t say that they are an attacking team, because they managed to score only 16 goals in all of their 14 games this season. FC Zhetysu failed to score in their last two visits and when we take a look at their matches away from home, we can see that in none of them both teams managed to score. We strongly believe that we won’t see goals in both nets here as well, so we recommend you to take the risk.
Prediction – BTTS: NO 83%
Torpedo Kutaisi vs Sioni Bolnisi – Georgia – Erovnuli Liga
Saturday 22nd June
Our next choice is from Georgia. We have picked two teams that manage to score very often, so we will definitely be looking for goals here.
Torpedo Kutaisi are flying high as they are chasing the top teams in Georgia. Torpedo are just 2 points away from Europa League spot. Another interesting fact for their good performance is that they have the second best attack in the league with 33 goals scored. Only the league leaders from Saburtalo managed to score more.
Torpedo have also conceded 16 goals in their last 6 matches home and away. According to the stats, in 67% of Torpedo Kutaisi home matches, both teams are scoring goals, so we expect the same again on Saturday.
The away side Sioni Bolnisi are taking the 7th place with 22 points from 18 matches, which is not the best record. They managed to win only twice when they play away from home this campaign, so clearly they are the underdogs here. Sioni conceded 40 goals so far, which is the worst stat in the league. Their defence is definitely not something that they can rely on. However, the visitors failed to score in only two occasions out of 9 when playing away from home, which speaks for confidence.
Prediction – BTTS: YES 84%
C. Sapporo vs Sagan Tosu – Japan – J League
Saturday 22nd June
The last pick is for Saturday and we are looking at Japan’s J League. The Asian`s championship is a really interesting one and this is why we are constantly looking for good picks here as well.
C. Sapporo are facing Sagan Tosu in Game Day 16. C. Sapporo are the better performing team. They are 7th with 24 points and we can simply say that we don’t expect a lot of entertainment from this match.
Consa, as they call the home side, scored 19 and conceded 18 goals this campaign, which is a little bit over 1 goal per match. One of the teams failed to score in 4 of Sapporo’s last 6 matches home and away. Their attacking force is weakened, so we do not expect many goals here.
Speaking of attacking force, we can’t include Sagan Tosu’s team in the same sentence. It is not a surprise that they are sitting on the bottom of the table in Japan. They have 13 points and enough time to prevent relegation, but they also scored only 7 goals so far and conceded 20.
And if we can expect them to concede at least 1 goal in the next match, it is hard to believe that they will manage to find the net as well, or at least we hope so. In only 12% of the visitor’s away matches, there were goals in both nets, which is a promising stats for our BTTS tips. We think that Sagan Tosu’s bad performance will continue and they will struggle to score here.
Prediction – BTTS: NO 64%
